Accra can keep enjoying the facilities they have and forget about the other regions.
But Cape Coast will rise and make things
happen. Obama City Award is a yearly event that see to honour and
rewards hardworking musicians in Central Region as a whole.
Initiated last 2 years by Candymann of
Candymania Entertainment. Event was held successfully but had some few
hitches along the line when awards were presented in two batches; 1st
position and 2nd position aside other organizational challenges but all
went well.
This year 5 new categories have been added to the previous ones.

- REGGAE/DANCEHALL SONG OF THE YEAR
- BEST RAPPER OF THE YEAR
