Fennec Okyere, the late manager of controversial musician Kwaw Kese will be laid to rest on April 26, 2014.
This was made known at a one week celebration held for him at his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road, Accra Thursday.
The late manager was brutally killed by unknown assailants who broke into his house.
The motivation for the killing is unknown but the police are still investigating the killing.
Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu Ekufful, who is also the Spokesperson for the family told Myjoyonline.com that all is set to give Fennec a befitting burial.
According to her, “the family has decided that the burial will be held from April 25 to 27, that is the week after Easter.”
The funeral will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre and there will be no wake keeping but the body will be laid in state at the same venue on April 26.
Asked what has been uncovered so far by the police, Mrs Owusu Ekufful said the police are still investigating.
“The police say they are still investigating so we really don’t know what is going on with that aspect of the case,” she said.
