Tuesday 6th August 2014
- Ban on drumming and fishing in the Fosu Lagoon signifies conservation of fish stock and period prepare for the festival
- Confinement of Omanhen ends
Wednesday 20th August 2014
- Emuntumadze (cleaning and health day) 4.00am-6:00pm signifies cleansing Oguaa state spiritually and physically for the festival.
- Asafo companies communal labour 6:00 – 11:00am
Thursday 21th August
- Ban on festivals and lifting the ban on drumming ceremony (No.1 company drummer gives signal on the drum). The ban on festival is to ensure full merry making and non disturbances of the elders during the festival.
- There will be cleaning and renovating of shrines and debris of burnt ashes from the bonfire at the post the last night.
- Bonfire at post(8:00 – 1:00am)
Friday, 22nd August
- Instin N0.3 and Akrampa No. 6 companies clean and renovate their shrines followed by bonfire at post and communal labour.
- Nkum No.4 and Bronfomba No.5 companies clean and renovate their shrines followed by bonfire at post and communal labour.
Wednesday, 27th August
- No.7 Amanful Company clean and renovate shrine and burn debris in Bonfire at night. The communal labour activities;cleaning the gutters.
Thursday, 28 th August
- Companies No.1 & 2 (2nd day), spiritual and physical cleaning of the environment for festival continues. Communal Labour, renovation of shrine and bonfire at post – 6:00am to 1:00am
Friday, 29th August
- Omanhen’s residence open to visitors who wish to call on him 9:00am – 4:00pm at Emuntumadze Palace
- Asafo Companies No.3 & 6
Saturday, 30th August
- 2nd Environment Day- Environment health day massive cleanup. Omanhen’s Palace still open for visitors to pay courtesy call.
- First harvest of the year procession to Omanhen’s Palcae, presentation of food stuff, and others items by Market women to Omanhen’s and elders.
- Asafo companies 4&5 (2nd Day)
Sunday, 31st August
- Choral concert dubbed “Osabarimba Kodwo Mbra V Choral Concert which will feature 10 selected Youth choir in the Oguaa Traditional Area. – Venue: Cape Coast / Time : 5:00- 9:00pm
Monday, 1st September
- Vigil at Nana Fosu Shrine (Akom’s Night) 8:00pm- 3:00am innovation of the God’s against any bad Omen during the festivities.
Tuesday, 2nd September
- Bakatue/ Regatta canoe race on Fosu Lagoon involving 3 groups. Nibe people in each canoe.
- Rites of life Ban Fishing in the Fosu Lagoon
Wednesday 3th September
- Colloquium on Youth Empowerment. Venue: Ato Austin Memorial Gardens. Time: 10:00am
Thursday,4th September –
OGUAAMAN Goes Traditional Wear
I. Activities
- Bible quiz/ Poetry recital
Venue: Top Yard Cinema Hall.
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm.
Prizes to be presented to winners at non- denomination Church services on Sunday, 8th September at Victoria Park.
II. WOMEN’S Day
Venue: Ato Austin Memorial Garden
Topic: women empowerment
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
III. Fante Food Fair/ Kenkey Bazaar
This is to re-introduce our local dishes to the up and coming generation
IV. Vigil AT NANA PAPRATA SHRINE
Drumming, dancing and display by the fetish priest/priestesses to invoke the blessing of the gods on Oguaaman and to ward off any misfortune.

Saturday 6th September
- STATE DURBAR AT VICTORIA PARK
- Tigofest: A joint sponsored show by Multitv and Tigo. This is to say goodbye to the old year and usher in the New Year.
Sunday, 7th September
Inter –denominational thanksgiving service- Victoria Park
