Ghana Underground Music Awards (GUM Awards) - First ever awards to honor unrecognized artistes in Ghana. A Latent Hub initiative. It started last 2014 and it is back with the second edition of it.
Music Awards has always been the most special moments in the lives of music producers, artistes, DJ’s, sound engineers and the big fans. The Ghana Underground Music Awards were created to acknowledge and honor hardworking artistes who exist outside the mainstream community. The awards is dedicated to bringing recognition to the nation’s hardworking unrecognized talents and also to honor bloggers, producers, DJ’s and presenters who help in promoting the underground artistes. The GUM Awards will recognize talents annually.
We are anticipating thousands of industry professionals and fans to come and support the unsigned talents that will grace the stage and hopefully take home awards in recognition of all their hard works. This awards show is a networking event and socialization event like no other.

To bring inspiration and empowerment to hidden talents in the music industry and also give public recognition and accolades to those independent artistes and producers who have demonstrated excellence or significant accomplishment in the unrecognized music world.
